'Zarzo' basket workshop held at my willow bed under the shade of my wonderful weaving canopy! This is a beautiful spot for those loving the idea of weaving closer to nature as we sit alongside our steam and close to the willow bed where it all begins. Originating from Catalonia this wonderful basket is beautifully sculptural and super practical too! This is such an interesting basket to learn how to weave, using the tension of one willow against another to build it's shape. It's a great basket for those new to willow and a refreshing new style for those who have made a basket before. All locally sourced willow is included. Tools are provided as are drinks and sweet treats to sustain us, just bring something for your picnic lunch. Sturdy shoes are advised as the ground surface is grassy and uneven. Its also worth bringing sunscreen and insect repellent just in case. £95 pp
