Willow swallows 18/04/24
*NEW WORKSHOP! * Greendale farm shop , 9.30-12.30/1
- Greendale Farm shop, Sidmouth rd, Exeter
Join me for a gorgeous morning of willowing at Greendale Farm shop near Exeter, as we celebrate the return of summer and the swallows. You will learn how to turn simple willow rods into characterful willow swallows ready to fly. We will begin by learning the spiral weave to make a small bird feeder. Next we will use the same type of weave to create the swallow's bodies and then adorn with woven wings. Your willow mini sculptures can be threaded onto a hazel rod or suspended by clear thread and will look fabulous flying above your flower beds or around your home. Come with a friend or just yourself for some quality time and embrace a new skill. Group size is kept to six to allow plenty of one-to-one teaching time. Suitable for all abilities, but some hand strength required. £50pp
Please note that cancellations or transfers are not available within 30 days of the start date unless you or I can re fill your place. I would make every effort to fill your place but bear in mind that the shorter the notice, the harder it would be.
