This garden trug basket workshop will be held at my willow bed under the shade of my wonderful weaving canopy! This is a beautiful spot for those loving the idea of weaving closer to nature as we sit alongside our steam and close to the willow bed where it all begins. Great for beginners or intermediates, this is a wonderful introduction to frame basketry that leaves you with a beautiful and super useful basket for home or garden! Working with a pre set frame hoop and ribs sourced from my willow bed in Devon, you will learn how to bind the frame together and settle into the wonderful rhythmic nature of weaving this basket. A true joy to weave! All materials are included. Tools are provided along with drinks and snacks but please do bring something to sustain you for lunch. It can be left in a fridge for the morning. As we are outdoors for the day (under canvas) it is advisable to bring a selection of layers as clothing, sunscreen sturdy shoes and insect repellent if you use it. £95 pp PLUS £10 for the pre made frame, total £105 pp
Cancellation Policy
Please note that cancellations or transfers are not available within 30 days of the start date unless you or I can re fill your place. I would make every effort to fill your place but bear in mind that the shorter the notice, the harder it would be.
