The Zarzo basket is the delightful result of the fusion a of a traditional Spanish basket from Catalonia and Danish design. It is sculptural with a striking profile , while also a very strong and versatile basket with good capacity.
Its making roots are firmly in the Southwest having been hand woven in Devon with willows grown on the Somerset levels. This particular basket is woven in a variety called Brittany Green , known for its green , grey and sometimes maroon hues. Its Handle is woven in a variety called Harrisons which provides a lovely contrast of warm autumnal orange and browns.

I am woven in a traditional basketry willow called' Brittany Green' harvested from the Somerset levels. My colours are green into grey. My handle is woven from a willow variety called 'Harrisons' and has autumnal shades of orange and rust.
